Inspired by Pop Art — the movement that turned everyday imagery into vibrant, energetic works of art — the two houses blend their hallmark codes into a disruptive pocket watch available in eight models, designed to be worn in a multitude of different ways.
More than a tribute, this is a disruptive collaboration between two icons of Swiss watchmaking. The Royal Pop draws inspiration from Audemars Piguet's legendary Royal Oak — launched in 1972 — and from the Swatch POP watches of the 1980s.

The collection merges the avant-garde design of the Royal Oak with the modular ingenuity of Swatch's vibrant POP line from the 1980s. At the core of each watch beats a brand-new hand-wound version of the signature SISTEM51 movement, finished with a dash of Pop Art energy.
SISTEM51, by hand
SISTEM51 is Swatch's signature mechanical movement and the only one with a 100% automated assembly. For Royal Pop it is re-engineered as a hand-wound version without a central screw — a small mechanical revolution at the heart of every watch.
Bioceramic, by Swatch
Developed and patented by Swatch, Bioceramic combines two-thirds high-end ceramic with one-third biosourced material derived from castor oil. The result is a durable composite with a smooth, silky matte finish unlike anything else in modern watchmaking.
Lépine or Savonnette
Each model comes in one of two unique pocket-watch styles. Lépine wears its dial open. Savonnette tucks it under a hinged cover. Both are unmistakably Royal Pop.
